The plantpulse 🌱 soil moisture sensor, is a smart gadget designed to keep your plants in perfect condition using a combination of simple components. At the heart of the system is the soi’l moisture sensor (FC-28), which accurately measures the moisture levels in the soil. This sensor sends data to a microcontroller, the Arduino Uno, which processes the information and determines the plant’s w/atering needs.

To make it easy to understand the moisture levels, the system includes an RGB LED (2-pin) that changes color based on the sensor readings. This LED provides a clear visual indication of whether your plant needs more water, is well-hydrated, or is overwatered.

The entire setup is powered by a 9V battery connected via a 5.5mm x 2.1mm snap connection, ensuring reliable and consistent power. For smooth communication between components, a 400 tie-point micro breadboard and 20 cm jumper wires are used, making it easy to connect everything without a fuss.

A 220-ohm resistor is included to regulate the current and protect the LED from any potential damage, ensuring the longevity of your monitor. Each of these components works together seamlessly to offer a practical and creative solution for real-time plant health monitoring, making it a handy tool for any plant enthusiast.
