This proposed device is quite an innovative thought with wide usage to save good quality water. Especially in those regions that have freshwater crises. Moreover, I would suggest incorporating a probe sensor (if available in the market or elsewhere) that could alert the users for heavy metals contaminations (e.g., Hg, Pb, Cad, As, etc) even if it raises the cost a bit.
