AeroClean Ground Rover (Phase 1)

Description

AeroClean Ground Rover is an innovative air-purifying robot designed to clean polluted hotspots in our surroundings. It automatically follows a path using IR sensors and stops wherever a pollution hotspot symbol is detected by the ultrasonic sensor. A blower fan then pulls in polluted air, and the filter system removes dust and harmful particles to improve the air quality in that zone. Red and Green LEDs show the pollution status and cleaning mode.

This is our Phase-1 working prototype to demonstrate the concept at the ground level. In Phase-2, we will upgrade this system into a smart flying drone that can detect air pollution from the sky, reach the hotspot automatically using GPS, and send LIVE AQI data to a mobile app for Smart City monitoring. Our aim is to reduce pollution by targeting the exact locations where people stop and breathe the most, like traffic signals and crowded areas.
