Agrocar & Ek Sathi: Smart Agriculture for Every Indian Farmer

Agriculture remains the backbone of India, with 55–60% of the population dependent on farming for their livelihood. Yet, modern mechanization remains out of reach for most small and marginal farmers—only about 9.1% of Indian farmers can afford traditional tractors, which often cost ₹3–7 lakh and are limited to a few tasks.

To tackle these challenges, we present Agrocar, an innovative, multi-functional agricultural vehicle, along with Ek Sathi, a digital platform designed to inform and empower farmers.

Agrocar:

Agrocar is a versatile farming machine capable of performing multiple tasks like ploughing, sowing, weed removal, and more—making agriculture faster, easier, and highly cost-effective. Compared to traditional tractors, Agrocar is more affordable, performs a wider range of functions, and is designed for accessibility to the majority of Indian farmers. Farmers operate Agrocar using a dedicated remote control, ensuring precision while the vehicle works efficiently in the field.

Ek Sathi Website:

Multi-Language Access: Supports Hindi, English, Marathi, Odia, and Bhojpuri, reaching farmers across India.

Real-Time Monitoring: Farmers can view critical farm data, including soil conditions, water usage, and field status, helping them make informed decisions.

User-Friendly Dashboard: Designed for easy navigation, even for first-time digital users.

Development Status:

While Agrocar is still under development and some advanced functions are yet to be implemented, the Ek Sathi platform will continue to be updated alongside Agrocar features, ensuring full integration and continuous improvement.
