We are seeking support to launch Energy Guard, a simple and smart IoT system that tackles the massive problem of wasted electricity. Many people forget to turn off appliances like fans, lights, or chargers, leading to high bills and unnecessary energy loss. In India, nearly 20–25% of electricity is wasted daily due to this neglect.

Energy Guard helps families, shops, offices, and small businesses save money and become more aware of their daily power usage, ensuring every Watt counts.

 Our Solution & Technology

Energy Guard is a smart electricity watcher that helps people monitor usage and avoid wastage through live data and alerts.

Feature Technical Solution Benefit to the User
Real-Time Monitoring Uses a PZEM-004T Energy Meter and a CT Clamp to measure electricity flow. Shows live values for Voltage, Current, Power (Watts), and Units consumed (kWh) directly on a mobile app.
Safe & Simple Setup The CT clamp measures current safely without cutting the wire, making installation easy and safe. Works with any appliance and is simple to install, even for non-technical users.
Alert System The NodeMCU ESP8266 reads the data and transmits it via WiFi to the mobile dashboard. Sends instant Alert Notifications if power usage is too high or if an appliance is left ON too long.

 Our Progress & Future Plan

  • Progress So Far: We have finalized the design, system architecture, working flow, and the mobile dashboard layout. Our next step is assembling and testing the physical prototype.

  • Future Plan: We plan to add an auto-switch OFF feature using a relay, data history tracking, and build a compact, final consumer product.
