Every year at least 2-3 instances of children falling in open borewells. Success of current methods is 10%. Current method is digging a parallel and much wider tunnel Using earthmover machines. It takes 35-40 hours to rescue. Due to so much lapse of time the victim who may be injured, scared, alone and hungry, might undergo something serious. The method is ok but so long span of time makes it ineffective.
