Smart Mentor is an innovative educational guide designed to support students aged 6–12 years during self-study. Many students struggle to stay focused, hesitate to ask doubts, or do not receive personal attention while studying at home.

Smart Mentor addresses this problem by acting as a friendly Ai based learning companion that encourages, guides, and assists students in real time.

The system is designed as a low-cost smart learning device that interacts with students using both audio and visual feedback. It displays short questions, messages, and expressions on an LCD screen, while a speaker provides instant explanations, motivational lines, and guidance. This dual approach ensures that even if a student misses an audio response, they can still read the explanation on the screen.

Smart Mentor supports grade-wise learning. Teachers or parents can set the student’s grade using simple controls, and the device then asks questions appropriate to that level. Students can respond, and the system tracks their performance by counting scores and learning progress. Positive messages and gestures help keep students motivated and engaged.

A dedicated doubt button allows students to ask questions whenever they feel confused. Upon activation, Smart Mentor responds immediately with a clear explanation through the speaker and a short answer displayed on the screen. This encourages curiosity and removes hesitation in asking questions.

The system also adapts to the study environment. Using a light-sensing module, Smart Mentor adjusts its messages for day and night usage, reminding students to rest or continue appropriately. Hand gestures using a servo motor make interactions more friendly and human-like, increasing student engagement.

Smart Mentor is designed to work with internet connectivity through a SIM-based network, eliminating the need for Wi-Fi. This allows the device to generate questions, provide updated learning content, and share basic learning analytics such as scores and daily progress with parents through messaging platforms. This helps parents stay informed about their child’s learning without pressure.

The project aims to make learning more interactive, stress-free, and personalized while remaining affordable and scalable. Smart Mentor is especially useful for students in areas with limited access to personal tutors or digital learning tools.

To provide every child with a personal learning companion that improves understanding, boosts confidence, tracks progress, and makes studying enjoyable.

Why we are raising funds –

We are raising funds because the product we need to make this project like raspberry Pi  model 3A ,camera module ,servo, speakers, LCD display and other things the total cost is 7000 to make one project so, this is not in our budget that’s why we are raising funds.
