Description

Our project is a Thermoelectric Cooler designed to provide affordable, eco-friendly cooling using the Peltier effect. It works by passing electricity through a TEC-12706 thermoelectric module, which creates a hot side and a cold side. An aluminium heat sink and cooling fan remove the heat from the hot side, allowing the cold side to produce effective cooling without using any refrigerants or releasing harmful CFC gases. The system runs on a simple DC power supply, making it energy-efficient and easy to operate.

We developed this solution to address rising temperatures, the high cost of traditional air conditioners, and the environmental damage caused by conventional cooling methods. Our design is compact, low-cost, portable, and suitable for both rural and urban households. It offers sustainable cooling for small spaces while keeping electricity consumption low.
