Description

Viri is a solar-powered autonomous rover designed to make cities cleaner, greener, and safer. It performs multiple tasks such as street cleaning, waste collection, seed dispersal, and plant watering using smart sensors, AI-based navigation, and renewable energy. Its cleaning system removes litter from streets, while its watering and seed-dropping modules support healthy plant growth and urban biodiversity.

Equipped with solar panels, Viri operates sustainably between 7:00 AM and 7:00 PM, reducing manual labor and energy consumption. It uses ultrasonic or LiDAR sensors, moisture detectors, and AI vision to move safely, identify plants, and water only when needed.

Viri also includes advanced safety features. Its geo-fencing system prevents theft by sending live GPS alerts, sounding an alarm, and wiping sensitive data if taken outside its designated area. It can also assist in community safety—if a lost child approaches, Viri can record basic information and immediately notify authorities to help reunite the child with their family.
