Our virtual project waste sorter is an online program code which sorts different kind of wastes into respective types whenever we upload images in it in that python code, it supports sustainability and is a time saver appliance.
Description
The Waste Sorter is an image-based waste classification system built using Python. The program allows users to upload a picture of any waste item. Once the image is uploaded, the system processes it using image recognition techniques and classifies it into categories such as plastic, paper, metal, glass, organic, or e-waste.
After identifying the waste type, the program also displays a useful di
sposal tip to guide the user on proper waste management. For example, if the image shows a plastic bottle, it might display:
Type: Plastic
Tip: Rinse the bottle and place it in the recycling bin.
This project promotes environmental awareness and helps users learn correct recycling habits while demonstrating how Python can be used for real-world machine-learning applications.
