• CARBO (Cleaning Aqua Resources using Budget-Friendly Options) is a low-cost, practical water purification model designed to provide clean and safe water to communities that cannot afford expensive purification systems. Built around the idea of “Carbon to Clarity,” the model uses a simple setup where polluted water is pumped from a bottle into a filter unit hidden inside a compact box for a neat and user-friendly design. Inside the filter, natural and affordable materials—Non-Woven PVA fabric, Zeolite, Maifan stones, Calcium Sulfite, and Coconut Shell Activated Carbon—are arranged in layers to remove different impurities step by step. Zeolite traps fine particles, Maifan stones absorb heavy metals and pathogens, Calcium Sulfite removes chlorine, and Activated Carbon eliminates chemicals, odors, and remaining contaminants. By combining these materials, CARBO provides an effective purification process that reduces waterborne diseases, improves hygiene awareness, and ensures access to clean water for households, schools, and rural communities in a simple, affordable, and eco-friendly way.
