🎯 Purpose of the Fund
The received fund will be utilized to design, install, maintain, and scale sustainable terrace green solutions that improve air quality, reduce heat, and promote eco-friendly living through modular green packages.
🧩 Areas of Fund Utilization
1️⃣ Material & Infrastructure Development
The fund will be used to procure all essential physical components required for terrace installations, including:
Recycled PP planters and structured grow beds
Vertical green frames for wall coverage
Soil-less growing media (cocopeat, perlite, compost, bio-enhanced mix)
High-quality air-purifying, ornamental, and climber plants
This ensures durability, sustainability, and faster plant growth with low maintenance.
2️⃣ Irrigation & Automation Systems
Funds will support the installation of efficient watering and control systems such as:
Mini drip irrigation for compact setups
Auto-timer irrigation systems for hands-free watering
Smart moisture sensors for plant health monitoring
These systems help conserve water while ensuring optimal plant growth.
3️⃣ Technology & Environmental Monitoring
To measure real environmental impact, funds will be allocated for:
AQI (Air Quality Index) sensors for real-time air quality tracking
Smart monitoring tools to evaluate cooling effect and plant performance
This data helps in validating the effectiveness of the green installations.
4️⃣ Demo Installations & Pilot Projects
A portion of the fund will be used to create:
Model terrace installations across different area sizes
Demonstration sites for awareness, learning, and client showcasing
These pilot projects act as proof of concept and help build trust among stakeholders.
5️⃣ Maintenance & Long-Term Sustainability
To ensure the installations remain healthy and effective, funds will be used for:
Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMC) including pruning, cleaning, and pest control
Seasonal replanting to maintain greenery throughout the year
Vermicompost units to convert household biodegradable waste into natural fertilizer
This supports long-term environmental and operational sustainability.
6️⃣ Training, Operations & Awareness
The fund will also support:
Training of installation and maintenance teams
Procurement of tools and safety equipment
Development of user guides, signage, and awareness material
This ensures smooth execution and promotes responsible green practices.
7️⃣ Contingency & Risk Management
A small portion of the fund will be reserved to manage:
Unexpected repair or replacement needs
Weather-related plant loss
Logistics or installation challenges
This ensures uninterrupted project execution.
