O₂ Aura

Description

We created O₂ Aura – The Moss Badge Purifier, a wearable mini air purifier that uses living moss to naturally clean the air.

Moss absorbs pollutants, traps dust, and releases fresh oxygen through photosynthesis.
Our device combines biology + sensors + electronics to keep the moss healthy and active.

WORKING

O₂ Aura has an Arduino Pro Mini, a DHT22 humidity sensor, a mini pump, and a small fan.

1. The sensor checks the moisture level of the moss.

2. If the moss becomes dry, the Arduino turns on the water pump to spray a little water.

3. Once moisture is perfect, the pump turns off automatically.

4. The fan gently pulls air through the moss, which filters pollutants and releases fresh oxygen.

5. The system runs on a rechargeable battery with safe USB charging.
