ABOUT THE PROBLEM:

Air pollution is one of the most serious environmental and health issues in India today. Toxic gases, smoke, and fine particles enter our lungs daily, causing breathing problems, weakened immunity, and long-term diseases. Despite many efforts, pollution levels in cities and industrial areas continue to rise. Which is very harmful for our current and future generation as well as for the mother nature, plants and animals it have been a major reason for there extinction and climate change causing various enviromental problems as Global warming. 

OUR SOLUTION: P2PCS

Pollution-to-Product Conversion System (P2PCS) is a student innovation that does more than just filter air — it aims to capture harmful gases and convert them into useful output. Instead of only trapping pollution, our system focuses on reusing it as a resource.

HOW IT WORKS (PROCESS EXPLAINED SIMPLY)

  1. Capture Stage – Polluted air is drawn into the system using fans.
  2. Filtration Stage – Dust, smoke, and fine particles are removed using layered filters.
  3. Gas Separation – Harmful gases such as CO₂ are separated using absorbent materials.
  4. Conversion Module – The collected gases are processed through a chemical/energy model to produce useful by-products (such as basic fuels or reusable compounds at prototype level).
  5. Clean Air Output – Filtered, cleaner air is released back into the environment.
  6. By-product Collection – The converted outputs are stored and measured.
